Project Description:
As a new cafe in Etobicoke, Mik Cafe needed more than just a visual tour; they needed a way to connect with the local community. I suggested a storytelling-driven reel to share the owner's unique journey, aiming to build an emotional resonance that encourages engagement and long-term customer loyalty.
Scope of work:
Pre-Production: Met with the owner to identify the core pillars and map out the essential shots needed to support her story.
Production: Directed a 2-hour multi-format shoot. I utilized a tripod for stable, cinematic framing, drone cinematography for expansive B-roll of the Etobicoke area, and professional audio equipment to ensure crystal-clear audio.
Post-Production: Created a slow-paced, cinematic edit using soft music to complement the narrative. I layered B-roll of Jessica and the cafe to keep the story engaging and added custom captions to ensure the message is accessible for social media viewers.
Deliverables:
1x 1-min Reel t (4K)
High-res Stills for Social Media
